Be inspired No matter where your special skills or interests lie, there is an AAD program where you can make a difference. One such program is Dermatology in Action, which gives members the opportunity to start their Annual Meeting experience by remembering why it is important to give back. “Dermatology in Action helped kick off the AAD meetings for me for the past 2 years and has been one of my most memorable experiences of my residency and career so far,” enthused Karolyn Wanat, MD. “The opportunity to reach out as a specialty group and make a difference for others centers me and reminds me why I pursued medicine.” Read about Dr. Wanat’s personal experience as an AAD volunteer.
